Solidmind
Solidmind for freelancers & makers

Ship the project. Bill the hours.

You're billing by output and your browser is a casino. Solidmind fences off each client project — its own rules, timer, and tabs — so the hours you charge for are hours you actually worked.

Free forever. Keep every working context on Pro.

How the project gets finished

1

One workspace per client

"Client X landing page" is a workspace — the rules, the timer, and the exact tabs — restored in one click tomorrow. Resume right where your brain left off, instead of rebuilding your desk every morning.

2

Different work, different rules

X is a rabbit hole during client work and the actual job when you're posting for marketing. Each workspace carries its own list, so switching projects switches the rules — no global list to re-edit three times a day.

3

See where the week really went

Stats show your focused time per workspace and how much of it your rules had to defend. When you bill by output, that's not a vanity chart — it's your timesheet's conscience.

Your rules follow your work

No global list. Each workspace decides what’s off-limits for that work — the same site can be blocked in one and essential in another.

Same site. Different work, different rules. That’s the whole idea.

Workspaces

Your working contexts, on tap.

A workspace bundles a topic, a friction mode, a timer, its own block rules, and optionally the tabs that belong to it. Save one per client and start tomorrow's session in one click. On Pro the library is unlimited.

And it’s on your side

The browser stops being the enemy

No blocking whole sites everywhere you also need them for work. The sites blocked in one workspace stay open in another — the tools you bill with stay available exactly where they're part of the job.

Private by default

By default Solidmind reads no page content at all — blur compares a page’s domain against rules you wrote.

The optional AI assistant is the only feature that looks at pages. Analyzed on your device by default; nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly enable a clearly-labeled cloud feature.

Focus is free. Forever.

Sessions, the timer, full-quality blur — free and unlimited. Pro is for the library you build on top.

Questions, answered honestly

So it reads every page I visit?

No — by default it reads none. A page is blurred only when its domain matches a rule you wrote; there's no page analysis at all unless you opt into the AI assistant, which runs on your device. Analyzed on your device by default; nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly enable a clearly-labeled cloud feature.

Isn't this just another blocklist?

It's rules — but scoped to the work, not the browser. One global list rots because no single list fits every task; a workspace's ten rules fit that work. And the lists stay maintained in-flow: right-click any site to block it for the session, and the optional AI assistant can suggest blocks you accept with one tap.

Why does Chrome ask for access to all sites?

The blur overlay has to be able to run on any page your rules might cover. Chrome asks only when you first start a blurring (Standard or Strict) session — install itself carries no scary warning, and Open mode never asks at all. By default Solidmind reads no page content; it only compares domains against your rules.

What if the AI gets it wrong?

It can only mis-suggest, never mis-block. The assistant is opt-in, runs on your device, and its worst failure is a small toast you ignore — enforcement always follows the rules you wrote. It's also tuned to stay quiet rather than guess.

Is it really free?

The core is free forever — unlimited focus sessions, full-quality blur, all three modes. Pro ($4.99/mo, or $35.99/yr) is the depth layer: unlimited workspaces, unlimited rules per workspace, and your full stats history with a weekly report. There's also a 14-day Pro trial, no card required.
